How did God lead you to Freedom?
Through frustration. After graduating from college I searched fervently but unsuccessfully for more than a year and a half to find a teaching job. And though I came close to several, ultimately they didn’t work out. God had a plan though. A plan to bless me more than I thought possible. In the spring of 2009, a retired band director and friend of mine let me know about the opening here at Freedom. Four months later, I showed up for the first day of school, and it has been a fantastic adventure.

Why have you chosen to work at Freedom?
I grew up going to public schools all the way through high school, and while I don’t regret that at all (it gave me lots of great perspectives and outreach opportunities), going to a Christian University really convinced me of the huge benefits of true Christian education. I love being at Freedom because of the clear level of commitment there is to provide a truly Christ-centered education. I am proud to be a part of it.
