How did God lead you to Freedom?
I had been working in Ann Arbor and living in Grand Rapids.  Our family prayed for a position in Christian education closer to home.  I joined Freedom in 2010 as the elementary principal.


Why have you chosen to work at Freedom?
I really enjoy the classical methodology that we utilize here at Freedom.  It is a hand-in-glove fit for the way children learn. As one of our second graders recently said about the learning that

takes place here, “It just makes sense.” Also, the faculty, families, and students are tops – very supportive and sold out to Jesus.

Bachelor of Arts in Education from Calvin College with a Fine Arts Group Major
Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Michigan State University
